Instagram never stops to surprise us.
While the world is trying to stay resilient through these tough economic times, it is exciting to see how Instagram is rapidly developing new features and functionalities to tackle main business issues and help users support their favorite brands.
Instagram has announced a new feature that will transform the way your stories and reels are viewed; caption stickers.
The feature turns verbal speech into written.

This is perfect for those who prefer to turn off their sound while watching video content as well as people with hearing difficulties.
This awesome update only works in English-speaking countries right now but Instagram plans on making this available soon in other languages and different countries too!
Turn of audio and video on Instagram Live

As Adam Mosseri explained in his announcement of this new feature on Instagram Live, many people are uncomfortable broadcasting themselves with visuals or sound on.
That’s why the latest Instagram update allows users to mute their microphones and turn off the video during Instagram Live, turning the live stream into something similar to audio chat rooms.
Similarly, like other video chat apps, when users decide to shut down their camera, there’ll be no more live video but rather only a profile picture.
Users can find the options on their phone screens during their live broadcast on Instagram.
For now, the host won’t be able to mute or turn off cameras for the other participants in the live chat.
The new options are available for both Android and iOs users around the globe.

In early April, Instagram released a new feature for their popular reels- remix.
The new function allows users to include other people’s content within theirs and thus make a unique mix using the footage from both accounts.
The remix option is enabled by default on public accounts; though if users prefer anonymity, this option can be turned off.
When someone remixes with someone else’s reels, the original creator receives a notification.
Here is how you can use this option:
- Click on the reels you want to remix
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner or the bottom right corner if you watch the video from the app’s dedicated Reel’s tap.
- Tap remix this reel button. If you do not see this option, the user might have turned off the option.
- The reels will open on the left side of the screen, and yours will be on the right side. Click the reels button at the bottom of your screen and start filming.
It seems like a good, handy way to boost engagement.
The captions sticker for Tales is now out there within the newest model of the app.
